Oscar S. Garcia to Co-Lead a Commercial Aerospaceport Certification White Paper

Oscar S. Garcia, as a member of the FAA/AST Commercial Space Transportation Advisory Committee (COMSTAC), Space Operations Working Group will co lead an effort to issue a white paper to develop commercial aerospaceport certification . The document is based on the FAA CFR 420 and will address issues and challenges for stakeholders seeking to certify airports and other facilities as commercial aerospaceports. This development further positions IFG and its leaders as thought and consulting leaders in the emerging commercial space economy worldwide. Oscar Garcia will co-lead this effort with Brian Gulliver, commercial aerospace expert for RS&H and Jeff Greason, Co Founder and CEO of XCOR Aerospace.
