IFG Presents Democracy and the Aviation and Aerospace Industries in the Americas

Oscar S. Garcia will join Nobel Laureate and former Costa Rican President Dr. Oscar Arias and a distinguished panel at the First Democracy in the Americas Symposium. The symposium delivers highest level content on the skills and practices needed to foster lasting democracy on the American hemisphere. Oscar S. Garcia will represent IFG and introduce the air transportation and aerospace industries as countries’ unique catalysts for wide and deep economic, social and political growth.

“ It is an honor for me to participate in this symposium at a time in which Democracy is at its most mature in North America, yet developing in Central, Caribbean and South America.” Oscar S. Garcia, Interflight Global Chairman and CEO stated “ Interestingly, the very peculiar air transportation and aerospace industries play and offer governments unique opportunities to develop policies that benefit democratic institutions and sustainable growth socially, politically and economically. These industries, when proactively legislated lead to quality employment, GDP growth and are a clear indicator of countries’ democratic stability, education and direct foreign investment receptivity, amongst others.” Oscar S. Garcia concluded. He will be delivering over 20 years of direct experience in worldwide air and space transportation industrial and business development, with an intense emphasis in the Americas.
