Oscar Garcia Chairs 2008 MIU Events VLJ Latin American Conference

MIU will hold its second VLJ Latin America and Caribbean Conference at the Four Seasons Hotel in Miami on November 10-11, 2008. This event leads the industry in the region and is projected to surpass last year’s number of attendees and sponsors very early on. Oscar Garcia has been elected to Chair again the conference which was held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on December 2007. The conference will cover the most relevant aspects of the VLJ, air taxi and private fight business models in the region. Oscar Garcia stated “I am delighted to chair for the second time this prestigious event which is beginning to shape the VLJ sector in more than 37 countries in the region. Moreover, I look forward to developing the initiatives presented last year and introduce new ones based on current industry challenges, such as the oil prices and financing markets”. The conference speakers range from Government decision makers to entrepreneurs.
